Canadian producer Jayda G is releasing her highly anticipated debut album on Ninja Tune!

Thanks to her contagious energy, vitality, her rhythms and her boundless enthusiasm, Jayda G has steadily risen in the dance / electronic music underground in the last few years. Musically, the debut album ‘Significant Changes’ is a mixture of different styles of vintage drum machine funk, heavily based on Chicago’s house blueprint. A natural progression after a series of eps, both solo and with her boyfriend and mentor Dj Fett Burger (sex tags Mania), most of which appeared on the Freakout Cult label, which the two operated together until 2018, as well as on her most recent Launched Label, Jmg Recordings. Born and raised in the small town of Grand Forks in the Canadian state of British Columbia – about six hours from Vancouver – Jayda Guy grew up in the midst of an abundance of nature, surrounded by mountains and forests, rivers and lakes. It was this environment that aroused an early interest in biology and nature in general: a passion that continued to intensify, continues to this day, and is inextricably linked to her musical work.
